BEAT Cushion back chair have sensual palpable curves and surfaces on the backrest. The key element of side edge chamfered back not only creates visual impression of having a thicker foam at the lumbar region but also creates an extra space for arm movement. Lower edges of the backrest has been thoughtfully raised allowing user to get comfortable grip while adjusting the back. Chair Adjustments include Backrest height, Seat height, Arm rest height and Seat depth adjustment. Beat cushion back has a rich visual quality wherein form of the product guides comfort and ease of use. The need to create a comfortable work chair with high amount of user defined adjustments and subtle comfort contours triggered the concept development of BEAT. The aesthetics is defined by its clean profile lines with well-crafted piping detail in upholstery complemented by premium finishes. The contours are enhanced through chamfers on sides highlighting the lumbar support. Wide upper back and contoured seat ensures comfortable seating experience throughout the day. DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS 1. Adjustment features • Backrest height, Seat height, Arm rest height, Seat depth adjustment, Tilt tension adjustment and tilt position lock - makes it an ergonomic solution which is fit for most body types. • Back height adjustment has drop-lift type function that enables user to easily adjust the height intuitively while sitting without using any lever. • Trapezoidal back enabling easy grip for back height adjustment. 2. Backrest • Profiled lumbar curve to take care of the lower back in all work postures. • Chamfered side edges in the back to aid in free arm movement and giving it a visual character. • Broad upper back for adequate shoulder support. • Piping detail used in the upholstery runs along the chamfered edge, concealing the stitch line imparting a unique look. 3. Seat • Profiled seat contour with a gentle front edge bump to maximize body support contact area. • The piping detail continues in the seat upholstery complementing the backrest. 4. Armrest • Arm pad is nearly rectangular in shape having generous bow-shaped edges when viewed from the top. It has a button underneath the pad to adjust arm height.
